Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 12600 Taintor Street about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday (May 19).
The victim, Raysean Wilson, 33, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives C. Bowling and L. Kauffman reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting and a vehicle shot at a gas station near the above address. Officers arrived and found Mr. Wilson, who was sitting at a Metro bus stop at the above address, had been shot in the shoulder by an unknown suspect(s).
Further investigation revealed another male, 46, was traveling to the gas station, across the street from the bus stop when his vehicle’s windows were also shot at. The male stated he was going to the gas station to speak with a suspect, who works at the gas station and had threatened to shoot him. According to the male, he and the suspect had been dating the same female for several years off and on. The male stated that when he pulled up to the intersection he heard a gunshot and the back window of his vehicle shattered.
Neither Wilson nor the male saw the shooter. The investigation is continuing.
