Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 12303 Gulf Freeway (Interstate Highway 45 South) service road about 7:20 p.m. on Monday (Aug. 17).
The victim, 26, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Barker and M. Combs reported:
The victim was in an apartment complex at the above address when he was shot multiple times by an unknown suspect. The wounded man ran to a nearby apartment for assistance. Paramedics transported him to a hospital.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect description.
