Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 11312 Westheimer Road about 1 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 3).
The victim, 28, was wounded in the face and transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Kauffman and C. Bowling reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of the bar at the above address and learned two males had gotten into an argument. One of the males pulled a gun and fired at the other male, but missed him. The armed male then got into a vehicle and drove past the parking lot and fired several more shots. One of the bullets truck a female bystander not involved in the original argument. The suspect, described only as a black male, fled the scene. Paramedics transported the woman to an area hospital.
