Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 11247 Lemond Drive about 8:30 a.m. today (May 15).
The victim, 35, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives O. Flores and J. De La Torre reported:
The victim was walking when an unknown black female, driving a red sport utility vehicle (SUV), pulled up alongside him. After a brief verbal exchange, the female in the SUV fired multiple shots at the victim, striking him several times. The suspect then fled the scene. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
The suspect is described only as a heavy set black female in her late 20s to early 30s.
