Investigation into Shooting at 10703 Royal Pine Drive

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 10703 Royal Pine Drive about 11:30 p.m. on December 2.

The victim, Michael Almodovar, 48, was transported to an area hospital where doctors said he is expected to survive his wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives F. Lee and V. Habukiha reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a duplex at the above address and were told the victim was shot multiple times by a suspect who fled the scene.  The victim was transported to a hospital.

At this time, there is no suspect description or motive in the shooting.
