Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 10414 Richmond Avenue around 11 a.m. on Thursday (January 24).
The victim, Marquise Henry, 24, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective K. Persad reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a gas station at the above address and found Mr. Henry near the front entrance with gunshot wounds to the neck and hand. He was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
The suspect is describe only as a black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and wearing a light gray hoodie and pants. He fled the scene in a light-colored SUV, possibly a Honda.
