| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 10001 Club Creek Drive about 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday (December 9).
The victim, Natalie Chuvac, 17, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers C. Brannen and J. Kimbrough reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Ms. Chuvac had been shot at least once in the left leg. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported her to the hospital.
According to a witness, she and Chuvac were in a vehicle leaving an apartment complex at the above address. As they pulled out of the parking lot, an unknown suspect(s) in a black sedan parked across the street fired multiple shots at them. Chuvac was struck, but the witness was not injured. The suspect(s) in the black sedan fled the scene .
At this time, there is no known motive.
