| Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on remains found at 16700 Space Center Boulevard about 6:50 p.m. on Thursday (March 20).
The identity, gender and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Amri and N. Henderson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a field at the above address after a passerby reported seeing what they believed were human remains. Members of the Houston Forensic Science Center responded to the scene and confirmed the remains were human.
The investigation is pending cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
