Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 7429 Rusk Street about 3:15 p.m. on Saturday (January 18).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Dunn and Detective M. Nicotra reported:
The victim was found in his bedroom at the above address with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, the investigation is pending the victim’s cause of death.
