Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 12170 Almeda Road about 10:55 p.m. on Saturday (June 22).
The identity of the victim, believed to be 40 to 50 years of age, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants K. Persad, C. LaFour and Detectives B. Stephens and L. Gonzales reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an assault call at a strip center parking lot at the above address and learned Houston Fire Department paramedics had transported an unresponsive male, who had suffered blunt force trauma, to Ben Taub General Hospital. Doctors later pronounced the man deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
