Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 100 T.C. Jester Boulevard about 2:55 a.m. today (April 20).
The identity of the victim, in his 20s, and his cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Detective M. Perez reported: An individual was driving near the above address when he observed a black Jeep Cherokee that struck a tree. The male approached the Jeep, saw a man inside with trauma to his head, pulled the man out of the vehicle, and rendered aid. Paramedics were called and pronounced the man deceased. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division investigators responded to the scene, believed the victim had suffered a gunshot wound, and contacted the Homicide Division. A preliminary scene investigation with homicide detectives and members of the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences could not determine the nature of wounds to the victim.
