Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 11001 South Gessner Road about 7:20 a.m. today (Sept. 20).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:
A City of Houston employee was opening the gate for a park at the above address and discovered the body of the victim lying in the grass beside the entry gate. The victim had suffered at least one gunshot wound.
At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
