Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 6200 Hermann Park Drive about 10:10 a.m. today (May 6).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 20 or 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:
A passerby noticed something floating in the pond in Herrmann Park at the above address. The passerby realized it was a body and called 911. Houston Fire Department paramedics recovered the body and HPD homicide detectives responded to conduct an investigation.
A preliminary investigation indicates there are no visible signs of trauma or foul play to the victim’s body.
The investigation is pending results of the autopsy being conducted by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
