Houston police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at 150 North Chenevert about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 10).
The victim has been preliminarily identified as Donald Crenshaw, 37, of Pasadena. His positive identification and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Stark and G. Sullivan reported:
On Monday (Aug. 7), a citizen called 911 to report his friend, Mr. Crenshaw, had fallen off a freeway overpass. The citizen stated Crenshaw was hurt and he was unable to reach him. HPD officers and investigators immediately began searching for Crenshaw without success until a body was located on Thursday on the bank of a bayou at the above address. The body matched the description of Crenshaw and his identification was recovered on his person.
The investigation is continuing.
