Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found in the 2200 block of Nance Street about 3:10 p.m. on August 11.
The identity and cause of death of the male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Bounds and J. Robles reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a body found along the banks of Buffalo Bayou at the above address. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition. There were no obvious signs of trauma.
The investigation is pending the male’s cause of death, to be determined by autopsy.
