Houston police have learned the identity of a male found deceased at 2000 Firnat Street about 11 a.m. on Saturday (Feb. 4).
The victim is identified as Carlos Lugo, 14. An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences revealed he had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Heaverlo and J. Jorsch reported: Officers responded to a field at the above address after a body was discovered. Paramedics pronounced the person deceased. The body was in a state of decomposition and an autopsy was ordered to determine the person’s identity and cause of death. The autopsy identified the victim as Carlos Lugo, reported missing on January 23 and last seen in the 2000 block of Tidwell Road. It is unknown when the shooting incident occurred. At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive in the case.
