Investigation into Female Found Deceased at 2777 Briargrove Drive

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman at 2777 Briargrove Drive found about 1:20 a.m. today (Oct. 3).

The identity of the female, 19, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Vaughn and A. Herrera reported:

The woman was found unresponsive inside an apartment at the above address.  Paramedics were called and pronounced her deceased.  She had visible head injuries.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the woman’s cause and manner of death.
