| Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman that occurred at 7920 Harrisburg about 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday (April 3).
The identity of the victim, 59, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Aguilera and S. Jimenez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing at the above address and found the victim with multiple stab wounds. Paramedics transported her to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The male suspect, 54, was detained at the scene and is being questioned by HPD homicide investigators.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
