Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a male that occurred at 6330 Windswept Lane about 5:40 p.m. on Saturday (March 26).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officer L. Patterson reported:
Officers responded to a report of a deceased male at an apartment complex at the above address. Upon arrival they found the victim lying at the bottom of a stairwell and Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene. Further investigation led to a second floor apartment and officers entered to check for other injured persons. No additional victims were found inside however broken beer bottles and multiple knives were found on the living room floor.
Witnesses stated they did not hear anything but only saw the victim at the bottom of the stairs. At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
