Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 4720 Montrose Boulevard about 3:10 p.m. on Saturday (August 24).
The identity of the victim, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and S. Chettry reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing call in the parking lot of a business at the above address and found the victim unresponsive near the doorway of the business. He had been stabbed multiple times. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
According to a witness, an unknown black male suspect was seen running westbound on Banks Street.
