Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 9737 Bissonnet Street about 12:35 a.m. today (April 3).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Dudley and Detective S. Overstreet reported:
A witness reported hearing gunfire near the intersection of Bissonnet Street and Country Creek Drive. A pedestrian in the area then flagged down an HPD patrol officer and reported a shooting at a bus stop at the above address. Officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
