Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 9603 Homestead Road about 6:10 p.m. on Sunday (August 28).
The identity of the victim, 34, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Smith and Detective M. Estep reported:
Officers responded to a shooting in an apartment complex parking lot at the above address and found the victim in the driver’s seat of a Chevrolet Tahoe suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased.
Witnesses stated a black, mid-size SUV was seen driving through the area and then stopped behind the victim’s Tahoe. Two unknown male suspects then exited the black SUV and began firing at the male. They then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
