Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9600 Homestead Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two other men at 9600 Homestead Road about 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 21).

The identity of the the deceased victim, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  The two other victims, 28 and 30 years of age, were transported to area hospitals.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Hughey and L. Palma reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting at an apartment at the above address and observed the three victims with gunshot wounds.  Paramedics pronounced one victim deceased and transported the two other victims to a hospital.

The suspects were described only as males wearing masks.
