Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9557 South Gessner Road about 6:25 a.m. today (June 17).
The victim, Abdias Benitez, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Persad and A. Grimes reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased male inside a vehicle at the above address. Upon arrival, they found Mr. Benitez in the driver’s seat of a red SUV. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the right arm.
At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
