| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9555 Crofton Street about 9:05 a.m. on Sunday (November 21).
The identity of the victim, 22, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Brooks and Detective B. Nabors reported:
The victim was standing outside his apartment at the above address when he was approached by a male suspect. The victim and the suspect had a brief conversation and when the victim turned to walk away, the suspect shot him multiple times. The victim was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The suspect, described only as a black male, fled the scene on foot.
