| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female found at 9430 Concourse Drive about 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday (September 4).
The identity of the victim, 37, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective R. Lujan reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive female in a walkway. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the female deceased.
A preliminary investigation indicated the female was seen walking with the suspect, described only as a Hispanic male, just prior to the shooting. Surveillance video and photos of the suspect with the victim are attached to this news release.
