Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 9200 Helmers Street about 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday (August 18).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Perez and S. Overstreet reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a male (victim) found shot inside the driver’s seat of a crashed vehicles at the above address. Responding paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Officers found bullet holes in the windshield of the vehicle. Persons in the area reported hearing multiple gunshots but no witnesses to the shooting were found.
