| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9000 Braesmont Drive about 7 p.m. on Tuesday (April 12).
The identity of the victim, 26, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Wohlgemuth and Detective J. Gardner reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found a male inside a vacant apartment. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounce the man deceased.
Investigators believe robbery is a motive in the shooting. At this time, there is no known suspect description.
