Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of a woman at 8802 Koala Drive about 2:30 a.m. today (March 13).
The identity of the male victim, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The female victim, 24, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Moss, M. Arrington, M. Barrow and T. Colbert reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call to the residence at the above address and learned the victims were shot in the driveway. Two black male suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a black or dark gray Dodge Charger.
Paramedics transported the victims to an area hospital where the male was pronounced deceased.
Evidence at the scene indicates the shooting may be a narcotics-related incident.
