Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 8601 Richmond Avenue about 5:05 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 8).
The identity of the deceased victim, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The other victim, 24, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Michon and C. Davidson reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call to a gas station at the above address and located one man unresponsive on the floor inside the convenience store. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A second man was found with a gunshot wound to his arm. Paramedics transported him to an area hospital.
The suspect is described only as a black male with a white hoodie and a black beanie. He was wearing multi-colored pants with white drawstrings and black shoes,
