| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 8200 Westpark Drive about 7:30 p.m. on Monday (September 20).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Glover and Detective J. Pickett reported:
HPD officers were near tthe Westpark Tollway at the above address when they heard gunshots. Officers searched the area and found a vehicle in the grassy area south of Westpark with a male inside, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers provided medical assistance and Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, there is no known suspect(s) description.
