| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8100 West Airport Boulevard about 10:10 p.m. on Saturday (December 7).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective G. Zavala reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the parking lot. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.
According to witnesses, several gunshots were heard and an unknown suspect was seen running through the complex after the shooting.
The suspect is described only as a male about 6 feet tall, with a thin build and wearing all black.
At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
