Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 7900 Carolwood Drive about 10:45 p.m. on Thursday (June 9).
The identity of the male victim, 43, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a man laying in the street at the above address. They found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
