Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of two other men at 7201 Bissonnet Street about 8:00 p.m. last Friday (October 21).
The identity of the deceased victim, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Two other victims, both 19, are expected to survive.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Gunn reported:
HPD patrol officers responding to a shooting call at the above address and found three males suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced one male deceased at the scene and transported two others to an area hospital.
Investigators learned the three victims were together on the sidewalk outside a convenience store when a black 4-door sedan pulled into the adjacent parking lot. The vehicle stopped and someone inside fired multiple shots at the victims. The vehicle then fled the scene southbound on Fondren Road.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
