The fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 6758 Indian Lake Drive about 5:40 p.m. on Monday (Dec. 20) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The identity of the victim, 15, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Hughey and R. Naughton reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the residence at the above address and found the victim unresponsive in a bedroom. He had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased.
Two persons at the scene were questioned and released. The facts were presented to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the case will be reviewed by a grand jury.
At this time, the department does not believe there is a continuous threat to the general public.
