| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 6711 Hornwood Drive about 12:25 a.m. today (September 2).
The victim, Nazia Khan, 19, was transported to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Detective C. LaFour reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting victim arriving at the hospital. Officers learned from family members that Ms. Khan had been transported by private vehicle after being shot in an apartment at the above address.
At this time, it has not been determined if the shooting was intentional or accidental.
