| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6550 Hillcroft Street about 11 a.m. on Thursday (January 14).
The identity of the victim, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp reported:
The victim was found deceased in the courtyard of an apartment complex at the above address. A witness saw two suspects chasing the victim through the complex. A short time later, the victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspects, described only as two Hispanic males in their early 20s, fled the scene in an unknown direction.
