Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 6550 Hillcroft Avenue about 9 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 27).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers E. Martinez and R. Montalvo reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and found the victim unresponsive on the ground. He had suffered apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the male deceased. A witness reported hearing multiple gunshots before the victim was found.
