Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 6425 Westheimer Road about 2:30 a.m. on Monday (August 5).
The identity of the male victim, 20, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detective N. Sharp reported:
The victim was found on the porch of apartment #806 at the above address. He had suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
