Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6355 Griggs Road that occurred about 8:45 p.m. on Sunday (September 26).
The victim, Norberto Velasquez, 23, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers B. Stephens and J. Gardner reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Velasquez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A witness stated Velasquez was in a vehicle and stopped at a red light when an unknown black male suspect with long dreadlocks inside a black sedan fired multiple shots at Velasquez . The vehicle then fled the scene.
