Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 6309 Dumfries Drive about 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday (January 16).
The victim, George Washington, 21, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Moss and E. May reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Washington lying in front of a vacant business in a strip center. He had been shot at least once and was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s).
