Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6275 West Airport Boulevard

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6275 West Airport Boulevard about 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday (August 12).

The identity of the victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Lange, C. Lamont and M. Estep reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in a gas station parking lot at the above address and found the victim with apparent gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.

A preliminary investigation indicated a male suspect exited a white sedan and fired multiple shots at the victim in the parking lot.  The suspect then fled the scene in the sedan, southbound on Bob White Drive.
