Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men at 6200 West Tidwell Road about 9 p.m. on Thursday (June 17).
The identities of the victims, in their 30s, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Arrington and L. Osborn reported:
An unknown black male suspect was seen shooting at the victims’ vehicle, a black Ford pickup truck, as they attempted to flee from the male. The two victims were struck by gunfire and their truck crashed into a nearby apartment building. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the truck deceased at the scene and transported the passenger to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The suspect fled the scene in a light colored SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer.
