Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 611 Loper Street about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday (August 10).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Hughey and L. Lovelace reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found an unresponsive male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.
It is believed the male confronted a suspicious person(s) on his street prior to being shot.
At this time, there is no known suspect description.
