| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a transgender female found at 600 Centerwood Drive about 1:45 a.m. today (July 29).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Detective M. Perez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at 11627 Wood Shadows Drive and found the victim lying in the roadway in the 600 block of Centerwood Drive. Houston Fire Department paramedics were on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, there is no known suspect description.
