Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 5625 Antoine Drive about 1:25 a.m. on Sunday (August 2).
The identity of the deceased male is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. LaFour and Detectives L. Jumonji and A. Rodriguez reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found the male lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Officers attempted to provide first aid to the male until Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the male deceased.
An unknown suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
