Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 5610 Royal Palms Street about 1:20 a.m. today (April 14).
The identity of the victim, 36, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Horn and T. Simmons reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence at the above address. Witnesses stated the victim responded to a knock at his door and was then shot multiple times. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
