Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female found at 5310 Almeda Genoa Road about 1 p.m. on Saturday (March 13).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detective A. Barr reported:
Officers were dispatched to a person down call outside the residence at the above address and located the victim inside a vehicle parked in the driveway. She had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the female deceased.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s) in the shooting.
