Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 5300 Creekmont Drive about 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday (June 18).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 40s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective D. Higgs reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call near train tracks at the above address and found an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound inside his vehicle, a white Hyundai Sonata. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect description.
