Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 4909 Doolittle Boulevard about 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday (June 7).
The identity of the victim, 28, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective E. Martinez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to Fire Station #46 at 3902 Corder Street regarding a male with gunshot wounds who arrived by private vehicle. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased.
A preliminary investigation determined a physical fight occurred in front of a residence at 4909 Doolittle Boulevard that led to the victim being shot.
The suspect is described only as a black male in his 40s, with gray “salt and pepper” hair who fled the scene in a SUV of unknown make or model.
